Studying and keeping in touch, mostly. I watch lectures and practise English with apps, and I'm constantly on Telegram with friends and family. I'd say about a third of my time online is honestly just scrolling, though.

When did you start using the internet?

Properly, when I was about twelve and got my first smartphone. Before that we had a family computer, but the connection was so slow that loading one video could take ten minutes.

Could you live without the internet?

For a weekend, easily, and I actually enjoy it when I'm in the mountains. For longer than that, it would be really difficult, because almost everything, from paying bills to ordering a taxi to studying, now happens online.

How has the internet changed the way people study?

Enormously. You can find a free course on almost any subject, and you can ask an AI tool to explain something in five different ways until it clicks. The downside is that it's easier to get distracted, and some students copy answers instead of actually learning.
